When it came to choosing the resort, they knew they wanted a beach ceremony, so finding a resort with a gorgeous beach was a top priority. They also wanted friendly staff, fun for all ages, and an adults-only section so they could honeymoon at the same resort. After reading reviews, watching YouTube videos, and checking destination wedding Facebook groups, they decided Hyatt Ziva Cancun was the perfect match.

Planning with the resort wedding coordinator went smoothly. They received a simple master planner to organize the details, and as the wedding got closer, the coordinator started a WhatsApp chat for quick last-minute questions. Jennifer said their guest booking website through Romance Travel Group was super easy to use, payments were simple, and transportation being included was a huge bonus.
They had a beach ceremony and cocktail hour (and Jennifer said the beach was unbelievably beautiful), but due to rain, their reception moved indoors to the ballroom which still turned out great. Their biggest advice for other couples: ask to see the indoor backup venue ahead of time, so if weather changes plans, you feel prepared and confident.
